Just want to comment that the reason it burned some of you is because you used it on the highest setting (turn it down a little.) Also, the atmosphere most be warm for it to work. If you are using it in a cool place it will not work. The instructions clearly says NOT to use it on the highest setting, so if you got burned it's your fault. I have Gynecomastia (male breasts) and this means extra fat stored in the chest area. And cosmetic surgery was the only way to get rid of them as I was told. I used it on my chest everyday for about a week now and it is going down, my chest use to show through my shirt and now it is slowly becoming unnoticable. I am curious to see what is will look like 2 months from now. Anyway, that's my story and opinion... and no I do not work for Velform. I am a reviewer just like those who posted negative stuff about the Sauna Belt. Nothing works for everyone.

I tried this product as well with no results so I sent it back for a refund on 12/24/05. (waiting for [] seller to refund as we speak) My question to you users is where is this product made? Mine said China, so I thought that maybe mine was a cheap copy. One seller told me the product is made in the UK. (This may have been an ignorant customer service person of course). So, has anybody tried the UK product if in fact it exists? Sad, I am so desperate for this to work and want the easy way. LOL. So somebody please post a comment responding to whether anyone has tried this product other than one made in China Thanks

I tired this product several times, different ways cause I thought I did it wrong. Wrote to other people who purchasede it too, and theirs does not work. It does not make me sweat at all, all it did was get hot and burn my skin. I also bought a slim belt to put on under it, and it did not work. I am very disappointed with this product.

Two words for the sauna belt....RIP OFF!!!!! Please do not waste your time and/or money!!! This product absolutely DOES NOT work! And for those reviews that claim it does HAVE TO be coming from employees of the company.  This belt burns your skin, and you do not lose an inch of anything. I only wish I had done research prior to purchasing this piece of crap and I would have saved my money!  I would not be surprised if this company is not sued in the very near future if they are not already suits against them!!!

You can't expect this product to work until you use it correctly. You have to follow the instructions thoroughly and correctly. And it wouldn't be a bad idea to watch what you eat and keep yourself hydrated so your body is obtaining fluid to sweat out. You can't expect any product to work miracles, and you can't be totally lazy and think you're going to look like a model after one use. Be patient, and use it correctly and you'll see results.

For me, and for me only since I cannot speak for everyone, the product has been very much worth it.  While I didn't come away from it covered in sweat, I have lost 3 inches in some areas so far, and its only been a few days.  And yes, its not a miracle worker, you do have to do some work yourself, I've found it helps if you drink alot of water a few hours before, so that way you have something to sweat out.  Once it did get too hot and cause a blister, but that was my own fault, I've set it on a lower temperature now and it feels and works great.  I'm also noticing my stretch marks disappearing because it really does make your skin tighter.  The differences in me are very noticable, and I'm very pleased with the sauna belt.   While these results aren't typical for everyone, because everyone is different, I can say that it has been wonderful to me and I will continue using it faithfully.

Terrible product.  I used it and all it did was burn me. I didn't sweat at all!!!  As some stated previously, its nothing but a heating pad. They need to take it off T.V. VERY MAD!!!  Waste of money and time.  If your thinking about buying it PLEASE DON'T! I wish I found these reviews before I bought the product. I would have NEVER bought it.

please, please, please DO NOT waste your money and buy this product!  it is such garbage and such a rip off! not only do you NOT lose the weight, inches and/or sweat like the commercial claims, but they also give the false impression that this crap is convenient.  the plug is so short that you can barely move so what is up with the people walking around in the commercial as thought there is no 6" cord attached or better yet, with the girl who does the flips? pleassssse!!! and also you CANNOT sit up like they show the models doing in the commercials, according to the instructions, you have to lay down. again, please DO NOT waste your hard earned money! this product does NOT work at all, and i am just angry at myself for being scammed, but you live and you learn, so please just learn from me.

21 Dec 2005 - Phillip of Florida, USA writes:

I used this product and while it didn't make me sweat, it did make me lose inches off the selected areas. After using it I looked in the mirror and noticed a difference with the first use. You are suppose to keep using it everyday until you see results. In my case I noticed stretch marks appearing with my second use of the product. Also, don't think it's gonna work if you are not watching what you eat for the 2-week period, because you will keep losing inches and gaining them back. Anyway, my stomach is getting smaller... it will help your stomach look toner. And the reason alot of us didn't sweat is because the direct heat is also drying your sweat at the same time. I sweated a little bit, but not dripping. I wouldn't recommend this product to a obesed person. If you are 70 pounds pass your goal weight it will work for you, but if you are over 100 pounds overweight you will not notice any inches lost. I am a very happy customer!

I gave into the infomercials. When I received it I did the 50 minutes like it said and it just got hot. No sweat at all! The second time I tried it I put a layer of plastic cling wrap between my stomach and the belt, and that made me sweat. I could have achieved the same results with a heating pad. Waste of money. Very cheap and cheesy looking.

30 Nov 2005 - Scott of Virginia, USA writes:

most people have a misconception on what this product is.    You will not lose weight.   yes it is a glorified heating pad. However the true point of heating fatty tissues is to release hardened fat and depleat it. By denaturing a fat cell you are able to flush it from your system easier once you re- hydrate youself.  An example of this is cellulite  once you depleat the fat cells  you need to flush them and rehydrate to allow your skin to reform its elasticity. In other words, use the belt before you do an ab workout and such and then drink water.

It doesn't work. I had returned to my old workout routine form college, which included 40 miles of running a week. I was back on track, until I got over-confident with this sauna belt. I had an interview schedule for a modeling agency, but I had gained back 20 pounds in just 3 weeks; I was turned down.
