Unbelievable

Stretching my arches, these orthotics have enabled me to go from barely being able to walk back to walking with no pain, including my mile walks. I'm so glad I found Walk Fit.

WalkFit Return

20 Oct 2008 - Ron of CA, USA writes:

After finding the Walk Fit product impossible to wear with my long flat feet, I returned them within 3 days of receipt. I used US Priority Mail. Now two months later I have not received a refund. When I called Customer Service they asked for my tracking number which of course is not issued for Priority Mail which is how they shipped them to me originally. The mail was not returned to me so they got it. Now they are looking for any excuse to keep the product and my money too. Don't trust this company to honor their return policy. This was the first and last time I respond to a TV ad.

Infomercial Review works..spread the word!

15 Oct 2008 - t of WA, USA writes:

After viewing the TV ad early this morning, I found and read all of the posts here - both pro and con. Note: Did anyone notice the leading actor in the commercial and as he was pulling or pushing their hands down he was also pulling them into him, to their lose balance.... anyway... ' ) There was writen indicators that Walkfit might be purchased locally, perhaps at a store much like [], but just then this beautiful brunette walked in, looked at me with those lets go to hell together eyes, I could tell I was a goner, but that’s another story. Ah Ha! Then you are correct my dear Watson, and tis precisely where I found my new pair of Walkfit orthotics today, []. I head a voice from across the room, it was him [] making another quality delivery. Anyway back at the ranch! I rushed home and couldn’t wait to try on my new Walkfit orthotics. I immediately placed both of them into my size 9 [] tennis shoes, (BTW, I did not remove the insole inside my [] tennis shoes). Findings: The Walkfit orthotics are working very well, I've had them on since I got home, 4.5 hours now. I do feel a bulge under both feet, but that’s a good thing, overtime they are reshaping my feet to correct path for best alignment, correcting the positioning, benefiting and augmenting my legs, back and shoulders. I’m looking forward to working out and wearing Walkfit inserts I bypassed theire outsourced order desk, bypassed the overseas support staff the weeks of waiting, the doubletalk, the ever burdensome escalating shipping costs, and I was completely able to steer clear of the never-ending pill bill, with so much less frustration! My Walkfit Experience

28 Sep 2008 - Dan of FL, USA writes:

Well, I think most of the people have problem of ordering directly with the Walkfit company. And I really thank them because I got mine from other places. I got mine from the local [] store for $18.99 to avoid the problem of the credit card charging fraud of the company. Now to the actual product, the Walkfit Orthotics. It is simply amazing. I start having back problems since 2nd year of my college years and knee problems at 3rd year. Now I have occasional hip problems also. I also love tennis so I don't want to give up exercising. From the start: I tried this today, and just from the start, I noticed I had mismatch arches from my 2 feet. My right foot was comfortable using medium arch and my left foot was comfortable with low arch. So I choose the medium arch to make both my feet adjust to the same arch. Wow, never knew that I had mismatched foot arches. Feel: I wouldn't say uncomfortable or painful like other people would state. I think they just tried to force themselves to use the wrong size arch. I can feel pressure from the orthotics on my foot but not pain. But the pressure is nothing from the pain I had in my knees and my back. Just make sure you choose the right arch size. I can tell you that when I tried the high arch size it was painful! So I when back to the medium for both my feet, and to allow my left foot to adjust to the arch so I can have better balance on my body. Result: Soon as I got the insoles on, I felt tingly sensation on my knees and then it was gone. Weird I thought, but then I didn't notice that my back pain disappeared. That was the shocking part, I notice that later after I start to think about if this thing really worked. If you don't notice pain, that is good. Conclusion: If you feel extreme pain from wearing this, don't force yourself. Try differ arch size or maybe it doesn't work for you. I can say it works for me. PS: Make sure you take out the original insole of your shoes and place the orthotics inside. Then place back the original insole on top of the orthotics. This will give you come cushion and the orthotics will be placed correctly.

Great Company, Crappy Company Yes, But Great Produ

27 Sep 2008 - Ellis of NY, U.S.A. writes:

Foot pain for many months, perhaps a year or more. Went from hard leather shoes to rubber soles to sneakers to Velcro sneakers but still had foot pain. Saw the TV infomercial, purchased the product on the Internet. Tried the product. First day, a little discomfort in one foot for about 30 minutes but then nothing. By the end of the night my pain was gone, GONE!, my feet actually felt good -- not just no pain but felt good! That's just unbelievable, remarkable. The product is fantastic. No B.S. On the other hand, the company or at least its sales practice is terrible. Like so many others, I was overcharged for shipping, and for inserts I didn't order. Seems one must opt out or the order for additional inserts and "rush" shipping is automatic. But, just call your credit card company and dispute the overcharge. Mine, AMEX, told us that they've had many complaints about this company and it's billing practices, so speak up, dispute the overcharges and you'll be fine. The product is so good that it's worth the B.S. one had to put up with in the buying process. And, by the way, when the product came it was accompanied by an invoice. However, the invoice was different from an email we received explaining the total charges. Essentially, I ordered a $19.95 product for which they wanted about $10 for shipping, and then they added another product (inserts) for another $10, plus $5 to ship that and another $10 for rush shipping and also more for tax. I expected a $30 charge but the charge was close to $60. However, I disputed it with AMEX and they just backed out the overcharge. The company will try to negotiate a $15 reduction. Don't fall for it. Get the product but don't allow the company to screw you over. All such B.S. but the product is so good that it's worth the nonsense the company puts you through.

Great Product, Iffy company

22 Sep 2008 - Sherman of CA, USA writes:

I used to have the original version, the []. They got lost when I moved and I fogot about them. Lately I've had some pretty serious foot pain and lower back pain. If I sat down or lied in bed, and then got up to walk, my feet would hurt to a point that I would stumble or have to take baby steps. After a few steps the pain would subside enough so that I could walk normally. I'm glad I read these reviews before buying online. The customer service seems horrible, as well as their bait and switch tactics. I found these as I was walking through a department store last night and was elated to the point of giddyness. After purchasing, I put them on in the car and laced my shoes tight. It felt uncomfortable during the drive home. But after 30minutes of driving, I got out of the car expecting pain. All I got was the first comfortable step I've taken in a month. I read the disclaimers and directions that came with the package. I'm on the low arch and plan to move to the medium arch in a few weeks. I slept with my shoes on and when I got out of bed, no pain. I've been on them for 4hrs now and I feel no pain. After some thought, I may get one that is a size larger since the ones for my size seem to have the arch a bit too far back. Great Product but it seems that the company practices are a bit shady.

Close to a Miracle

1 Sep 2008 - Derek from California of CA, USA writes:

I’m 47 and been walking consistently about four miles a day, four to five times a week. About four years ago I started getting a sharp pain in my left foot while walking one day (I thought I tore something). I went to my doctor and they took x-rays and all but found nothing. A couple of years go by and I keep trying to walk but in pain all of the time. It got to a point where I had constant pain in my left foot while just standing. It started to affect my right foot over time from over compensating. I finally went to another doctor last year and he suggested custom arch supports. He said my insurance does not cover it and recommended me to a friend of his. He said they cost about $400 for a pair. I thought that was too much so I never went to see him. Well about a week and a half ago I really pushed myself trying to walk and must have hit a nerve of something. The pain was so bad in both feet by now that I stopped walking all last week. Sunday night (8/31/08) I went walking with my wife. I was in a lot of pain so I walked slowly. So slow that heavy set women were passing me by. I’m not use to that because I walked about 4.3 miles per hour (I’m 175 lbs and 5’-11”). Believe me, I been doing this a long time now and in fairly good shape. I could hardly get 2 miles in before quitting and had my wife drive us home. Late that night I’m lying in bed (around 1:00 AM Monday, Labor Day). I’m flipping through the channels while my wife is rubbing my feet and came across the infomercial for Walk Fit. I get the phone and place an automated order for two pairs, only to get pissed off when they signed me up for every other product I didn’t want. It made me so mad that I called them back and spoke to a sales person and said I want to cancel my order. He said I would have to call their customer service and cancel. Later that morning I called and cancelled my order. I still wanting to try them so I found them online and called a local dept. store and found them there (on Labor Day). I put them in my NB shoes and went walking. Immediately I could tell this was going to work. I went walking at the park around 11:30 AM by myself and was able to walk my full speed and got in 5 miles (I kid you not). No pain! All of the sharp jolts of pain that use to run up my legs are now gone. I came home and wrote to review. The only sad thing is that I didn’t find out about them four years ago.

Disappointed

22 Aug 2008 - Alice of Florida, USA writes:

I am so very disappointed. I had thought about ordering the walkfit for the longest time when I finally went ahead and ordered on line, (given that it is disclosed that delivery could be up to 4 weeks), I anxiously waited to try this product and was very hopeful it would help my problem. So the day I received the package I was so excited only to be totally deflated, I did not receive the walkfit I got a pair of cushions and a small bottle of peppermint. I have now rang the number on the invoice 4 times to see what is going on, only to be told rather rudely that I have to wait for a discloser, i will receive, and have to complete and send back to the company and inturn they send it to the post office (i think they are scamming the post office as well) that declares the customer did not receive the delivery of the parcel. I am telling them that it is not the post office it is your deparment that not send the correct order. The customer rep would not listen and told me I have to wait. I even emailed for a response, to the effect that they send me the walkfit that I paid for or give me my money back. I am sorry to say I have not had any problems like this whenever I choose to buy online. This totally sucks and makes you question ordering online ever again. One company spoils it for others THIS IS NOT FAIR.

Unhappy customer

19 Aug 2008 - robert of Kansas, USA writes:

Bought this product online. Took longer than advertised to receive and when I tried them did not notice any relief from my feet problems. Also, they started sending me the joint supplement that I had not ordered. When I called their customer service department was treated very rudely. I have sent the joint supplement back at my own expense and contacted my credit card company to stop payment on this product that I did not even order. I was told when I contacted Walkfit to complain that someone would be calling me back within the hour. I still have not heard from anyone. Would not recommend buying from this company.

Refund

11 Aug 2008 - Dilcia of NY, USA writes:

I waited 3 weeks for this product and when it came, I was told to put on the package "Refused, Return to Sender" for a refund. I did that and it has now been 3 months and I have not received my credit. They are lousy and do not credit your account. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Thank you

Walk Fit is useless and they overcharged me

27 Jul 2008 - sara of california, united states writes:

My husband ordered this for me due to chronic foot and leg pain. First of all, we chose $10 shipping and they charged us $25 for shipping. The product did not arrive for almost 2 weeks (so why did they upgrade the shipping to express without my approval?). The product itself is uncomfortable and unusable. I cannot fit it into any of my shoes although I ordered the correct size. I will be returning the product and demanding a refund. I should know better than to order anything from an infomercial.

Not for flat feet!

16 Jul 2008 - Michelle of LA, USA writes:

I purchased this about two months ago and have tried sseveral times to give the product the benifit of a doubt. Of course, the ad does not discuss flat feet just low arches. All the presure from my body was no longer evenly spred over my feet as God made me. Instead, All my weight (110 lbs)shifted to the mid section of my foot. The way the walk fit situated my foot I was not able to get blood circulation in my toes. Even in flip flops they would [] as not only my feet would ache, but my whole body would ache. Don't waste your money!

Walk fit

23 Jun 2008 - Neal of ga, usa writes:

DO NOT USE ALL CAPS.Walk Fit inserts are the best orthotics that I have ever used. My right foot pronates, so I have to use an orthotic.Prior to Walk Fit, I was paying $100 for an orthotic that was inferior to Walk Fit. The 3 different inserts make it easy to custom fit.

Don't buy from web site

18 Jun 2008 - Robin of Michigan, U.S.A. writes:

I purchased these after my doctor recomend an arch support for some foot pain I am having. After a wait of over 4 weeks I finaly recived my walkfits. I put them in my shoes right away. After adjusting my shoe laces I found them to be not to bad. My balance was so much better right away. I used them for about a half hour and my feet felt great. The next morning when I got out of bed I could hardly stand up, my feet hurt so bad! Putting the walkfits in my shoes made it even worse. I was in tears all day because I have never had such bad pain in my feet and was unable to walk for most of the day. I have not put them back in my shoes since. I may try them again but am unsure. Today I recieved an e-mail from the company stateing they had prosessed my order. I called them and asked what order? They said it was for the pills. I told them I didn't order any pills and told them not to send them in the first place with my order but they did anyway. I spoke with Troy at the company and was told they would cancel my order for anymore but that since this order had shipped I would have to pay for it. I didn't order them in the first place, told them I did not want them and they still sent them. I am going to contact my credit card company to see what I can do to stop the payment. I have also recived a number of calls from walkfit trying to sell me other items. I had to threaten to contact the BBB before the calls stoped. Do not buy direct from the company. If you want to try these get them someplace else where the company has no record of you.

Don't Bother

16 Apr 2008 - Cyndi of Arizona, USA writes:

This is a waste of money. The insole is a lousy product. If you're not careful, they rope you into a monthly refill of the joint support formula, and it's hard to get them to stop sending it and billing you.

Don't waste your money

24 Mar 2008 - Teresa of MI, USA writes:

Don't waste your money. I received my Walkfit inserts only to find out they had charged me for express delivery. Since it took nearly 3 weeks to get them I tried to contact the company to correct the error. I sent countless emails that were never answered. Tried to call customer service only to be put permanently on hold. Finally gave up and decided to try the things. Pure torture. Even tho I started wearing them just a short while as suggested they never stopped hurting. In my opinion they are worthless.

It works great for me

15 Feb 2008 - Seung of California, USA writes:

I bought and use the Walkfit and I love it. It is hard as a rock. It has minimal flex as it is made of hard plastic. However, it works for me. After years of using soft foam or gel types of insoles which only cushioned the foot but didn't shape it, the Walkfit works like it says. It is hard as a rock and you have to get used to it slowly day by day. Use it for 15 min first day. Use it for 30 min and so on until you get used to it. And you will get used to it. When I put my shoes on, I feel it for about 30 min and then I forget that it's there. Your feet adjusts and allows it to shape its bone shape and my feet are much more comfortable because of it. I use it mostly in sneakers since it raises your foot considerably and is hard to fit inside dress shoes. Also, I've tried wearing 1/2 size bigger so that I can put the original insoles over the Walkfit so that it's more comfortable. It works for me in sneakers and hiking shoes. They recommend wearing it without anything over it but I've gotten blisters from it moving around so the 1/2 size bigger trick works for me.

Tennis player - now 52 - Bone on bone

30 Jan 2008 - FRANK of California, USA writes:

TO ALL YOU SKEPTICS - When I first tried this product, I was suffering from a very painful Achilles heel problem for almost a year. This pain was reduced appx 30% in less than a day and gone in a week. THE BIGGER ISSUE - The first time I put these on I was told not to play tennis for at least a week because they would be too painful and I must wait. Well I just had to try them NOW because I was developing serious balance issues along with my occasional mild to excruciating knee pain and needed to find out NOW if there was any hope of being able to continue to play tennis, my life's passion. At first it felt like I was standing on 1/2 a golf ball. As uncomfortable as it was, my balance on the court was greatly improved beyond explanation and my legs felt like they were mine for first time in months. I could only handle playing for 5 minutes and it was the best 5 minutes in the last 6 months, all shots feeling solid and powerful with good balance for the first time in months. Over the next week or two I was now able to wear the WalkFits all day every day, as instructed. I forget to wear them, my knees buckle and pain is back big time. Not only did my knees stop buckling and popping, but I stopped falling on the courts, knee pain has been reduced over 80% over a four month period, and occasional sharp pains in my lower back are gone – I was truly a mess. Its been over a year now and the knee pain is gradually getting worse again - but not yet to where it was. Within a month of trying very costly doctor prescribed orthodics, the pain came back to a degree much worse than ever. It was only relieved again by wearing my WalkFits. I'll be in big trouble if they stop making WalkFits.....
