I used it in 1999 then stopped. I am using it agin. I am 51 and like the work out I get. My chest and arms really get the burn and this is just the work out I like. Not too much and not too little. I just do the arm and chest for now 2 or 3 days a week. I really keep those young kids a work wondering.

I didn't like the device because it requires a very high number of repetitions (I believe it was multiple sets of at least 25 reps per set) for each exercise, and it took forever to complete a workout, after which I didn't even feel like I had accomplished anything. If I were advising a friend, I'd say the Win Gym is a rather "cheapie" plastic gadget, and that  their money would be better spent on something else. I'm sure you'd get much better results from one of those metal spring flex bars like Lou used to use!

I was sold on the informercial because I travel several times a month and not all the hotels I stay in have a fitness room. The Win Gym is portable for travelling, however, I thought it was cumbersome to change positions and the range of motion put a strain on my wrists. I would not recommend this product.

I'm one of the presumably small percentage of people in the world who spotted the infomercial for this product and bought it. It didn't take too long for me to break it, as it is rather cheaply constructed. I kept it going for awhile with duct tape holding it together, before eventually junking it. While it was in service, I found that the Win Gym did very little to tax my muscles. The whistling sound it makes is sort of pleasing to the ear, but that's no reason to buy a piece of exercise equipment. The fact that it's portable is the best thing this gadget has going for it. Save your money and just do regular old push-ups and pull-ups.
