I just turned 16 years old on July. I'm overweight, the sad part is that I don't know my weight. Over the summer I have been exercising, but it gotten me nowhere. After seeing the informercial of winsor pilates, I was tempted to try it. I have been doing the winsor pilates for about one month and a half now. And boy have I changed. When the school year began I was tryin on my pants which was tight on me last year, so tight that I had to hold my breath to button it. When I wore for the first time after a month and a half of doing winsor pilates, I suddenly realized that I didn't have to hold my breath anymore. It fit me perfectly. So perfect that it was really loose. I actaully had to wear a belt to keep it from falling. And the shirts that I was tight on me last year, they're like extra large on me now. Even though I have not finished the winsor pilates yet, I know that I'm getting leaner and skinnier. I could even see some of my muscles developing. I'm so happy with winsor pilates. I could have never thought that this could changed my life. Now I'm totally hooked and addicted. I'm never gonna stop. Now I can actually go outside without feeling fat or overweight. I have alot of confidence now.

Well I finally did it, after seeing the informercial numerous times, I saw Winsor Pilates in a popular department store and dropped the $60 to buy it last night. I am a mother of 3, my latest child is only 10 weeks old. Having delivered by ceserean twice, I have no muscle tone left in my stomach. I was a lean 122 lbs and 5'8" before my third pregagncy and now i weight 158 lbs 10 weeks postpartum. I have a closet full of expensive clothes (I'm somewhat of a clothes hound!) that I can no longer fit into, and that is my motivation to get thin again, before Xmas! I tried out the 20 minute video lasy night and must say that I am impressed and look forward to the accelerated workout tomorrow. I will alternate them for 6 days per week. The diet plan is quite similar to my current diet, as I am a vegetarian and eat mostly organic and living foods anyways. One thing I do plan to change in my diet is I am QUITTING THE SUGAR! I think with these workouts 6 days a week, and no sugar in my diet, I should achieve my 28lb weightloss goal in less than 10 weeks! Wish me luck, I'll get back to you with an update!

Best results I have ever seen, it is fun and painless for the most part. You dont realize what a great work out you are getting until the next day, then in a couple of weeks you feel your clothing fitting much looser. Just love it!

I got Winsor Pilates almost a year ago and am very happy with it, although it is extremely hard to do some moves, I am getting stronger, and my metabolism is revved up, I was 300lbs and lost about 130 so I am almost to my weight loss goal!

I love it love it love it, I just wish I was more consistent with it, but it does get a bit repetitive, I hope some new videos are created just to add it into rotation.

I've owned the Winsor Pilates system for almost 3 years.   Whenever I want to get a good exercise, or get into shape for an event, I pop the videos in for a few weeks and I get awesome results!  It even helped me get baby weight off after my first baby.  I recommend this exercise program with a sensible diet to anyone willing to do what it takes to get results.

I recently purchased the Winsor Pilates Ab Sculpting video. I have been sticking with the program and I can say that it is probably the best program I have ever been on. I could feel results only after the 2nd workout! Some of the moves are difficult at first if you aren't particularly flexible, but if you stick with it you'll improve rather quickly. The other good thing about this workout is that I usually don't feel as achy the next day as I sometimes do when I do more static exercises like crunches. Excellent program!

Winsor pilates is not another fitness gimmick, but to see results you'll need to put in the effort. I found that the 20-minute video included in the basic TV offer was great, but was only great for the first two weeks or so. I think that people who are serious about getting in shape with pilates, or who aren't seriously overweight and want to get slim and toned, should go ahead and buy Mari's longer videos. I've been doing the advanced power sculpting (50 minutes) video 4-5 times per week and have seen great results.

This only works if you are already in decent shape. If you are 20 or more pounds overwieght, dont waste your money. It will only help you lose a few vanity pounds or tighten up an already decent body. If you are an athlete looking for that added thing for your routine, this is it. But this will help larger people about as well as yoga when it comes to losing weight.

I am 23 years old,a bit over my desired weight. My mother ordered this video and i tried it for about two weeks while I was staying with her. I could not believe the energy I felt every day after working out, and I could definately feel the burn in my legs and abs. After moving back out, my mother kept her video and I just just ordered it for myself last night. I can't wait to get back into it. I don't understand why people are getting so bored with the videos. I find the pase refreshing, especially if you have a hard time keeping up with those Fast Paced work outs like I do. I think they just aren't Motivated enough to keep going if it isn't a Guarenteed overnight success. Winsor Pilates is fun, and energizing. I love it!

I purchased the Winsor Pilates system in August of 2003.   I was in decent physical condition when I purchased it, and I did the 20 minute workout everyday before work.  Within a few weeks I noticed a change in teh shape of my body.  I was beginning to look longer and leaner.  I continued with the program all the way through Christmas, and I managed to lose weight over the holiday season!  Imagine that!  Unfortunately, I began to get lazy, and pushed workouts to the bottom of the list of priorities.  I noticed that I had not gained weight, but I looked as though I did.  I am starting the Winsor Pilates workouts again, and this time I am not stopping....EVER!!!  It really works, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Winsor Pilates is good stuff! I'm never going to look like the demonstators in the videos, but I'm slimmer, stronger, and more flexible now. People who complain that the videos are "too slow" or "too boring" have missed the point entirely! Pilates isn't about speed. It's about grace, strength, and good form, like yoga or tai chi. You have to engage your brain as well as your body in order to do it properly. If you just want to thrash around and work up a sweat, go do some cardio instead. But if you want a real challenge for your strength and coordination, if you want to make each breath count, give Pilates a try. Mari's a good instructor, the production values are very high (you can even choose the music you'd like to hear in some of the advanced videos) and you really will get results if you exercise consistently and pay attention to your form. A Pilates manual is a very useful supplement to these videos; I was able to improve my technique by studying diagrams and reading useful imformation about the more difficult moves.

I haven't used the DVDs in a while, but I wanted to put my 2 cents in. I would recommend this product. Mari is very good, the exercises are pretty easy to follow and do, and after I finished my workouts I never felt relief to have finished. The workouts are effective and relaxing all in one. Definitely a good buy!

I tried the tapes but found the movements very difficult even with the beginner's.  Winsor Pilates is not for everyone! It is extremely slow and Mari talks too much. My neck sores constantly and I do not feel any result at all.

I started the Winsor Pilates several months ago with a goal of losing weight and toning up for my sisters wedding.  This is a great product.   Low impact for those that don't or can't bounce around for aerobics.  Mari is easy to listen to and follow.  In little over a month I lost about 12 pounds just by following the 20 minute workout 3 times a week.  I also tried to sneak in the Accelerated Workout at least once a week.  Although when you have a toddler its hard to do more than a 20 minute workout. Combined with SlimFast and halfway sensible eating I've noticed a difference in my body.  If you commit to this workout you WILL see results.

I did the work out 3 to 4 times a week. Doing the 1 hour accelerated program at least 2 xs a week. I did it for about 8 weeks and did her 30 workouts where I was supposed to feel like I had a completely different body. Not so. I felt toner and stronger but you couldn't tell beneath my flab, which was as abundant as ever. I was able to make progress in the DVD as far as challenging moves so I knew I was improving but I didn't lose any inches or pounds in fact I gained a couple.  The suggested diet is ridiculously strict and pretty unreasonable if you ask me. Great program for self-disciplined women who like to suffer in order to look good. If you are already thin and want to tone up, it is a ball buster work out that is really challenging that will give you results but if you need to burn fat I would not recommend it.

I purchased the original Winsor Pilates system back in January. Since then I've bought two more of the videos (Abs and Bun & Thighs). The videos move slowly, which can sometimes be a pain, but on the other hand, I feel I have to work harder just to hold the positions that long. I've noticed a significant difference. By doing the videos twice a day, for three times a week, I've found that I can lose up to an inch a week off my target areas. Plus I'm more flexible than I have been in a long time. I definitely recommend the videos. But results require effort!

I've been following the Winsor Pilates exercise videos for about 2 months now. I started with the butt & thigh workout and then added the ab workout about a month ago. I do them at least 2-3 times a week, sometimes more. It's tough at first but I find it relaxing as well as a stress reliever. As little as a few weeks from starting the program, I noticed that my leg muscles became more defined, and now my ab muscles are following as well. It is a confidence booster as well as a stress reliever. I love it and I will continue with this routine for a long time.

I've been using Winsor Pilates for several months now and I really enjoy the workout.  I have toned up and lost weight. Initially the slow pace of the videos is good so you can learn the routines, but after awhile it gets boring to hear the instructions over and over again.  So I ordered the Winsor Pilates bun and thigh workout and the 20 minute accelerated workout - these videos don't have instructions for beginners and you work at a nice steady pace.  I really enjoy these new videos and feel that I get a good workout and I'm not bored while doing them
