I have been using the "Winsor System" for about 5 weeks now and have to say that this is the best workout I have ever done.  I have done the Firm tapes off and on for several years, but since I tend to "bulk up" easily, I never got any "smaller".  These tapes have made my "core" muscles so much stronger that they've ever been, and I've already lost 4 inches! I believe that if you do these tapes carefully and faithfully, you couldn't help but LOOK and FEEL better within a few weeks.

I bought this product because it looked so simple and relaxing. However, as with anything, there was a catch. If you're hoping to lose weight from the videos I recommend something else. Even the brochure that comes with the video says that in order to achieve results you need to do at least 45 minutes of walking a day along with the videos. The diet plan that came with the program was also impossible to follow especially for anyone on the go. Who has time to sit down for lunch and make a grilled salmon salad? But the positive side is if you're looking for a relaxing, stretching and flexability workout this product will be great.

I purchased these DVD's and the 4 other DVD's. I have been pursuing "Classical Pilates" the true, pure Pilates. Winsor Pilates are a little different and they don't go into WHY or HOW enough. I know everyone has said how slow yadda yadda. (Note: DVD's are prob better, because you can skip the intro and go straight to working out.) Pilates is suppose to be about quality not quanity. You are supose to advance to certain moves when you can complete either the beginner, or intermidate perfectly. Winsors are mixed up. I haven't even bothered with the first orginal three DVD's. They looked slow and boring. But the Advanced Accerlerated Video did have me in a sweat and introduced me to some new moves I haven't tried that are on the Advanced list of "Classical" Pilates. It is the same Accelerated Video but 20 mins, instead of 50 mins, less talk, more action. As far as the Win-in-10 meal plan, there is little info and no options for ppl that hate cottage cheese. Not to mention the fact that pouring olive oil over fruit doesn't sound yummy or cereal and cottage cheese. Yuck yuck yuck. Not for ppl that like to cook either. Frozen pancakes don't jive in my house. The journal is a good idea, as is the now, goals and after measurements, but what dinky info can u write on the one inch line. It isn't a a journal, it is a piece of paper. I have to admit that I took the before and after photos with the digital camera and I was scared of the butt shot I took...sitting all day in a cubicle has been evil. Hopefully this will help undo some of it.

I thought these would be a great way to lose the "freshman 15", but they actually do not do much.  Once you have lost weight, they will help to tone.  I do not feel as though I am working anything but my neck and back.  Even my legs do not feel a burn. No good.

I ordered Windsor Pilates to try to lose a few pounds, and to tone my overall body.  Honestly, I think that these would work great if you could do them, but I found them to be incredibly boring.  I couldn't bring myself to put the tape in after doing it a few times, it just put me to sleep.

I'm 47 years old and have been exercising fairly consistently for 20 years, aerobics, weight training, running, treadmill, the firms, etc, etc.   After the birht of my 2nd child I gained 40 lbs that I have spent the last 10 years trying to get rid of to no avail, but I did continue to workout.  40 additional pounds on a 5'2" body is not a good thing! I ordered Winsor pilates six months ago.   I wanted a workout that was not going to bulk up my excess weight and tone and slim me down. I LOVE Winsor pilates, and do it 3 times a week.  It not only helped me to become more flexible, but toned and strengthened my body especially my abs and back better than any exercise I have tried before and I am down 30 lbs and feel certain that I will lose the final 10 by the summer.  I feel great and even my kids have noticed the difference. Winsor pilates might not be for everyone, one size of anything does not fit all.  But for me it's a perfect fit not just physically, but also in how it relaxes not just my body but my mind.

I purchased the Winsor Pilates in December. I haven't been able to do them on a constant basis. But it is now march. I have lost about 3 inches on my hips and 2 inches off my waist. My legs however, there getting toned but the fat isn't coming off. You can see muscle under the fat. It is kinda weird. It is a boring tape but once you get the exercises down packed you can listen to music! I found it very easy on the knees. I aslo like the ab and leg exercises. I dont like the back and neck streches. I do all that when i do my warm up. I found pilates for dummies is much cheaper and more informative than the winsor! It is only 9.95 compared to 59.00! I rate it a c

I have had the DVD's now for a little more than a week and a half and are doing them 5 days a week.  When I purchased the original 3 DVD package I also purchased the Ab & Bun and Thigh DVD's.  I love them!  After the first workout I felt my abs and after I tried the Butt video my butt was so sore the next day and I certainly felt my legs.  It really is a great workout, but you must eat healthier overall for weight loss.  Also, I think that he eating plan pretty much sucks, but the videos are a great workout and they are as relaxing as they are invigorating.  Highly recommend!

I am a 19 year old girl who bought the winsor pilates because although I am not overweight, I could lose a few inches here and there.  I am also not athletic so I thought it would be a good thing to add into my dialy rutine.  I got the tapes 4 days ago.  On the first day I did the accelerated work out and the buns and thigh work out.  I definately felt the burning in my body.  The next day I was sooo sore, but it was a great feeling.  I have used the videos (accelerated, buns and thighs, and abs) every day for the past 4 days and although I cannot see physical results yet, I can definately feel them.  My weekly plan will consist of this... tuesday, thursday, saturday doing accelerated, Monday, Wednesday Friday doing abs, buns and thighs.  I have not been following the meal plan because since I am still living at home, getting everyone to eat like that would be extreamly difficult.   I have heard many complaints about the speed of these videos, but that does not bother me.  The only thing I think could be a little different is the transition in between moves. She tends to explain a certain exercise but meanwhile makes you hold your body in a certain position.  Not all of us are in top shape so this is extreamly difficult.  I attempt to hold the positions while she is talking, but I end up folding into myself, just for a quick break.  4 days ago I weighed 142 lbs and now today I weigh 139 lbs.  That is 3 lbs in 4 days!  But keep in mind, I'v been drinking alot more water than I used to and eating alot more fruits and vegitables.   NO MCDONALDS!  I recommend this to anyone who is looking to lose a few pounds and tone their body.

I tried this product with the intention of building muscle and looking firm. I did not have any weight to loose so I figured that it wouldn't take much to get the muscle definition I wanted. I did the tapes consistently for six days a week for three months and never got results. It was a good work out for stretching but not toning. I would not recommend this for people because it doesn't get you results.

I purchased the original Winsor Pilates set over 1 year ago. My intent was to, as the infomercial claimed, "sculpt my body slim." The package arrived and I was upset to find the directions state in small print, you have to do the tapes and walk 3-5 miles EVERYDAY and follow their strict diet in order to lose weight-which is NOT stated in their infomercial-the infomercial states 20 minutes 3 x's/week! Needless to say, I have lost 0 pounds/inches from this set! I still do the advanced tape 2-3 times a week because it feels good on my back and I find it relaxing to do, but I do NOT recommend this for weight loss!

Personally I dont think that Winsor Pilates is as great as the infomercials make it sound.  I am 14 years old and I dance so it's not like I'm overweight but could lose a few inches here and there.  After I do the work out I don't really feel like I've worked out, it just puts a weird strain on my neck, and I've been doing the exercises for about 2 weeks now and haven't really felt any changes.   I would not recommend Winsor Pilates unless you are willing to follow the crazy eating plan, and even still I'm not confident that it would work.

I have tried many different exercise tapes, walking, biking, the gym, etc.  While they all worked somewhat, nothing addressed specific areas like Winsor Pilates.  I can't believe the difference in my body after only a month!   I lost inches, my legs don't giggle any more, my butt is higher and tighter, my hips (biggest problem area) are slimmer, my abs are starting to look cut... People keep asking me what I'm doing.  It feels good to hear that.  Most of all, I feel really energized and healthy.  And we all know muscle burns more calories than fat...   I recommend this highly!

Thank Yoy Mari Winsor!  I love the tapes and feel stronger in my abs and butt! i am a gym member and have treadmill and bike at home but your tpaes are the only excercise that i really feel in my abs.  i also like the slow pace..it helps me to focus on my powerhouse and control my movements.

I don't understand the reviews of those who say that the exercises aren't challenging enough.  This Pilates tape helped me to lose soo many inches and was very effective.  For those who are fit, why bash this exercise? It has totally worked for me and for anyone who has no preconceived view about how exercise is suppose to be. For those who have a weak back or neck, Mari recommends you use a pillow and has a student do a modified variation of the exercise. THE EXERCISES HELP YOU LOSE INCHES- DON'T FOCUS ON WEIGHT! Don't listen to the bad reviews-try it for yourself. You won't be sorry.

I've been using the Winsor Pilates Videos for 3 weeks and I'm seeing great results. She has a Basic tape that you MUST watch before you try any of the exercises that show you the proper positions. I'm a female age 47 and was really out of shape.  Today I was able to use the Ab Sculpting Video for the first time. I used the Basic Video, the 20-Minute Workout, Upper Body Sculpting and Bun & Thigh Sculpting Videos every day for the first week. Then I dropped the Basic and just used the others. I watched each Video before I tried the exercises the first time. I still can't use the Advanced Body Sculpting or the Accelerated Sculpting Videos yet, but I am building strength every day. The only equipment I have used has been a mat and some 1 pound dumb bells. It seems there are other types of Pilates exercises that require more equipment but not the Winsor Pilates series. No other exercise program I've used has ever worked like this. I'm very happy I ordered the video! s and feel they were well worth the money.

I was so exited when I first bought this video.  I stated working out with it everyday and walking and following the diet.  i lost some weight but I think that was from just not eating junk food and walking.  I really dont think the video did much.  It is really boring it is slow and she doesnt do a good job of keeping you motivated.  I would return it if i could.

I have been doing Winsor Pilates for almost 2 weeks now.   I have been used the 20 minute tape everyday.  I am beginning to see definition in my abs and my legs are feeling much better.  I love the DVDs.  I like the slow pace because it is not overwhelming.  I have tried other Pilate tapes and have not been able to complete the tapes.  Mari's DVDs are great.  I do agree that the food is not realistic. I think that as long as you eat heathly, drink water, and do the DVDs, you should see results.  I love it.  Thanks Mari!

I love Winsor Pilates!! I had a baby in June of last year, by cesarian, and I lost all muscle tone in my tummy area. I started with the SLIM FAST plan in January (new years resolution) and I lost about 35 pounds. Once this was off I needed to tone, and Pilates is the key. I have been doing the videos 5 days a week for a month now, and I have gone down 2 pants sizes!!! I love it, I love it, I love it! I can't wait to go home to excercise!  :) Its relaxing and strengthening, I see muscle tone in my legs and arms...It's great! I can't wait to see myself in another month!
