Hello world! after I used pilates only once, I already noticed a difference! This product really works, because after about 1 day of using it I really enjoy it. Although I have no eating plan, and I eat over controllably, I have still lost at least 15 pounds! So all you people out there that are eating and not satisfied with your weight, I really think you should invest in all the pilates tapes! Thank you.

I bought these videos after seeing the infomercial at least three times. I am not overweight, just the right weight for my height. I wanted to achieve muscle definition and toning. These videos are OK for people who want a GOOD STRETCHING- no more! After doing the 20 min video three times, it got dreadfully boring- Found myself fast forwarding all the repetitive introduction to the exercises... SO I decided to try the Accelerated Video- This one is a bit more challenging, because of the awkwardness of SOME moves. I was disappointed that after a week I never even felt sore. Just did not feel like I was really exercising, Just stretching and a minor ab workout. If you are looking for excitement, this is not it! If you are overweight, this is not it! And if you want to tone, you would have to stick to this everyday for a LONG time to get the results they promise. For anyone who wants to know what it is like, is Just like a bit of Yoga with stretching combined. TOO SLOW And BORING for the younger crowd. I assume that if you are a celebrity, with the trainer right next to you, it would help with the boredom issue, but does not work for me, by myself on the living room.

Having suffered from arthritis in my lower back and hip for years, I was looking for an exercise program that didn't aggravate my back. I ordered the tapes after I saw that Pilates is recommended for arthritis sufferers. I got the tapes 1 week ago, and I am quite pleased with them. I found that a very good exercise mat helps to do the positions. I really enjoy it, but I think that Mari goes too fast at times to get effective stretching. Now, I don't think that the 20 minute routine will make me look like Daisy Fuentes with only three workouts per week, but I am sure that this is a very effective program. My hip feels better, and my abs, which are practically non-existent after two recent pregnancies, are coming back! Also, as the system suggests, you should also do some form of aerobic workout some days. This would certainly eliminate the boredom factor out of it.

I have purchased the videos and to me it would benefit me more with less instruction, cut it short and get to the exercise. I did not return them on time HOWEVER, my daughter is now using them and she is eleven years old and loves them.

I, like many others, was highly impressed by the celebrities on the infomercial. I thought it would take some serious nerve for them to risk their reputation for a product that didn't work. As soon as the product arrived I started using them! They are FANTASTIC! Seriously I found Winsor Pilates to be exactly what I was looking for. Pilates is low impact, and there are modified positions, so it's perfect for people who often have trouble doing the high impact aerobics. It improves your flexibility like you would not believe. I know at first it's difficult to do certain exercises (the first time I tried rolling like a ball I couldn't come back up) but after a while you get the hang of it. Now in terms of physical improvement you see the change almost immediately. Your abs start to become tight. After several weeks of using it I have a line going down my abs!!! NEVER in my life had I had definition like that. Not only that but the leg/butt exercises are phenomenal. Even in the skinniest of my days I have never had a perky butt... Pilates lifted it right up!! I know some people complain that it's boring but I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. If you want some video instructor saying things like "Come on!" You can do it! Lift those legs! You want to look good don't you!?" then this is probably NOT for you! I personally hate video instructors like that. In fact, that's why I have stopped using certain products - like the Tony Little tapes. It IS good for young people. I am 21 and I love this product!!!

I started Pilates about a week ago, (and by-the-way just finished working out w/ pilates) and I feel totally energized and lean... My whole body is tingling! *especially my legs!* (problem area) I've noticed my abs getting "more cut" and my legs look more toned and it seems like the fat is melting away.. after 1 week! ( off and on due to my crazy social life) Anyway I'm sticking to PILATES... its fun, challenging.. but rewarding.

I bought Winsor Pilates a week ago. I have used it twice so far and I can already feel abs! I'm 16 years old, and pretty fit, but I often use the modified versions. I definitely recommend these videos to people who want to tone and strengthen their muscles, but not for people who expect to lose great amounts of weight.

Hello! I just got the tapes in the mail a couple days ago for my 13 yr old daughter--she is a real powerhouse, but flabby--5'4" and 172 lbs. Anyway, if she doesn't watch herself and start learning good eating and exercising routines early, she will have trouble. So, of course, yesterday before school, she made me get down and do the exercises with her. Let me tell you--today I am sore, but I guess that is good. I will update in a couple weeks and see if there is any change with us.

I am not a big exercise fanatic but, I saw the infomercial and I decided to try them. They had to have been the worst quality fitness tape I have ever encountered. They even broke my VCR.

I am 18 and a college freshman. I started Winsor Pilates about the same time I started school. I have to make myself do it, but just because I hate to exercise. I've only done it consistently for about 2 weeks...and although I can't see a difference yet...I can feel one. I can now to twice as many crunches as I could before I started, and it's not as hard for me to do the 20 minute workout video as it was when I first started. Some of the things are really tough to do at first. But, that only tells me that once I am able to do it, the pilates is working.

I LOVE this workout! I've been doing the advanced tapes for about three weeks now and I can tell a huge difference. My stomach is actually toned now. You can actually see the muscle. I have tried other exercise but nothing has worked like this. It's great!

I have been doing the Pilates workout for about 5 weeks, and I think it is great. I get up in the mornings before work and do the videos. I do the 20 minute workout 2 - 3 times/week and the buns & thighs, abs and the accelerated workout once per week each. I have already noticed a difference, and I am actually a fairly fit person. My clothes are looser, I have more energy and just feel great!

I just received my Winsor Pilates tapes a few weeks ago and I really like them. I could see results immediately, which was exciting and motivated me to really be careful about what I eat. I saw results after only one session of the "Accelerated" tape. I would suggest learning the basics from the "Basics, Step by Step" tape and the moving on to the Accelerated tape if you really want results. The exercises are low impact and feel great, although a few are difficult to do at first. What I like about this tape is that you only do 4 to 10 reps of relatively easy movements and don't have to do reps till you are dying of exhaustion. What I would change, would be that the "Accelerated" tape be all exercise and no instruction, and that the instructions would all be introduced on the "Basics" tape. All in all, it's fun, relaxing and best of all, absolutely does produce immediate results.

I saw the Winsor Pilates commercial on TV and ordered it right away. As a regular "home video exerciser", I was looking to add something different to my routine. I hated the tapes! I thought they were to slow and boring. These might be fine for a beginner but not for someone that has been doing other workout tapes for years (I have been doing The Firm tapes since they came out in the 1980's). I would advise to anyone who has had dance training (ballet or jazz) or done The Firm workout tapes, to stay away from these as they would probably be to slow for you.

I tried the Winsor Pilates for only 3 weeks and after coming off of strength training and advanced cardio workouts found it to be a little slow. I was still willing to give it a shot because of the high endorsements. However, I think this is one exercise routine that is better suited for the gym with a qualified instructor showing you how to manage most of these complicated moves. It also requires quite a bit of space, much more so than a normal aerobics routine. I didn't notice any change in my physique, but this could be due to the fact I had just completed 9 weeks of strength training and cardio and had already reached my weight goals. I wanted to do Pilates to get the benefit of building leaner muscles and learning better breathing techniques with exercise and found this routine was a bit more complicated than I cared for.

I have a bad back so running and lifting weights hasn't really done my back any justice. I've lost weight working out, but haven't really toned which is what I want to do. I started Winsor Pilates 3 weeks ago, and yeah, the tapes seem a bit slow, but when you start them and do them correctly, your stomach will let you know. I haven't noticed a change in my appearance yet, but I can feel a change. And most of all, I am not exhausted after doing it and my back doesn't hurt. It's all about stretching the muscles, not straining them, and that I love.
- Jen of New York, USA writes:
These videos are EXTREMELY SLOW! The instructor spends so much time talking it ends up taking so long to complete a workout. After a few workouts, it get Really boring. I forced myself to do the workouts for a month, dreading every minute of it, and didn't see results. I'm very disappointed in the product. It's a good stretch, not a workout, not to mention a waste of time if you want to get the pounds off.

I purchased Winsor Pilates about 6 mos. ago. I am an avid runner and purchased the tapes as a way to workout with less stress on my body. I think the tapes are good for anyone combining them with cardio. They are a good alternative to your days off. The moves are challenging, and despite being able to run 5 miles a day, I too was sore after completing the advanced tape.

I just received my Winsor Pilates two days ago. The first day I watched the instructional video and the next day I thought I'd try the 20 minute video. I did that video and then did 1/2 the accelerated video. I didn't think I got a workout until I woke up this morning and my abs were sore! I was so happy! I love the sore feeling - it lets me know I did something right. I just did the 20 minute workout at lunch and will try the accelerated with my roommate after work. Hopefully I won't be dead with pain tomorrow! I feel it works and I am hoping I lose weight and tone up in 45 days due to a big trip I am going on - so we'll see...but I must admit, it is the first workout video that feels like it ACTUALLY works! :)

I bought Mari's tapes in August and started doing the 20 minute workout from Day 1. I continued with that tape for three months and then switched to the accelerated tape. I am a "fat" skinny person. I look great in clothes, but not so terrific undressed due to poor muscle tone. I love this workout. I workout about 5 days a week, and I must say I am beginning to see a big difference. I like that the tape is somewhat slow, because I do it first thing in the morning and it helps me totally concentrate on my breathing and movements. I am 45 years old and I figure that after being exercise lazy for about 30 years, I can't expect "overnight" results. I think Winsor pilates is something I can do for life. It puts me in a very spiritual state of mind. Everyday, I feel I can stretch a little further or do something a little better. I'm finally getting the hang of "Open Leg Rocker."
