Well, on the first day I took the recommended two capsules and I felt sick all day long. I felt very jittery and I could not focus on anything. I had a little tummy trouble that day too. My emotions were heightened and I was irritated with everything around me. I had small chest pains on the first day and the sweating is constant (but managable), I could not get to sleep until 4 am the next day, and my appetite was lowered. However, the next day, I tried only taking one capsule and felt great. Only the sweating continued. And then tried taking the two capules again the next day and I was fine. I've been on the pill for about a week and I have not seen results (but it's been only a week). I'd recommend this pill to those looking for more energy to lose the weight as well as it helping the weight loss process itself. I do however STRONGLY recommend that you cut out coffee, tea, chocolate, anything with a lot of caffine in it and drink as much water as possible. The more water I drink, the less crazy and jittery I feel all day.

i had just started with zantrex today and i didn't feel any different. i see some people have really bad side effects but if you read carefully on the cap of the bottle it does say to drink a full glass of water for each capsule you take. but we should still do some exercise and lots of water and read the labels of the bottle carefully.

I have found this product to be a great AID in a diet plan. You must exercise and eat properly first, then introduce Zantrex to your diet. I have been taking the pill on and off for over a year, I usually never take more then 2 pills a day. I, like everyone else get nervous and tend to get upset easily while taking it. I have lost allmost 100 lbs. over the last year, and contribute some of my success to Zantrex. To those with heart conditions or hypertension, I would use caution with this product, it does tend to make your heart race at times. Also never consume caffiene drinks while on Zantrex. So as a final note, this is not a miracle drug, but it can help in a proper diet plan.

Hi, I began taking Zantrex about 1 year ago off and on. At first it made me jittery but I slowely got used to them. The first time I took them I lost 13 pounds, and I was on them for about 3 months. Then i went off of them for about 2 months. Then back on and lost 7 more pounds. Then went off again, and then back on (currently) I've been on again for about 2 weeks and so far have lost another 3 pounds. My advise would be to start out slow!!! I always start out w/ 1 pill because they do make you nervous, but hey they work. I'm 135 pounds right now and 5'5" I would like to loose about 5-10 more pounds and then i'll go off. They really helped me, the only bad thing I can say is that when you do go off of them you'll get headaches because your used to the caffinne.

I'd rather chew crushed glass! This is not slander this is my personal experience. I was boarding a plane after being on Zantrex-3 for the second day. Big mistake, big! I took the pill before boarding the plane because i was going to eat my lunch on the plane. Before the plane could get in the air good I began to shake, sweat and grown from being irritable and the headache that came with all that was the worst. How about people wondering what the heck is wrong with you and thinking you're cracked out? The warning label on this bottle should read. Crack heads only!

I used ZANTREX 3 and I went from a size 18 to a size 6 in about 4 - 5 months. I love it. I look good now. I feel good now and I can readilly send my before and after pictures because now I shop with the "junior sizes". Zantrex 3 does make you jittery if you do not follow instructions. One needs to eat healthy, exercise, drink lots of water and avoid caffeine. That is all one needs and the results are amazing. Everyone admires me now.

I bought Zantrex 3 after being on Ephedrine I felt happy all the time not much weight loss- then I researched Ephedrine more & discovered its also HEBAL ECSTASY!! VERY TRUE!! Well, Zantrex 3 I took 2 last Monday had a bit of tummy trouble - but...nothing I couldn't handle - mixed it once with ephedrine just to see (!) and boy I was sweating obscenely!! I did excercise on 1 Zantrex but I felt too high nrg and thought my heart was in my throat!! Then I took 2 this morning and I got a terrible tightening of the skin on my knees , elbows and arms and legs and back of my neck and an awful rash - but that went away after I drank a load of water - What I have noticed is that since last Wed. every time I take one I feel very sleepy and lethargic and nap on the sofa for an hour or so - I don't think you are meant to sleep on it!! Anyone else has this experience please say!! I thought is it because I used to do a load of speed (amphetamines) and stopped last year - I began to get healthy and excercide 5/6 times a week and eat right too. But I can't say I have lost that much weight I have lost maybe a pound! I would recommend it but I like taking new tablets!!

Hi: I purchased this product from the gym on the recommendation of one of the trainers. Wrong move!! I initially took 2 pills as it says to do on the bottle, and I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin. I felt jittery and nervous. I felt like I had to move around constantly, and I kept blinking. I paid $30.00 for it, so I decided to try it again, but this time I only took one pill. Same thing happened. My advice, if you don't like the coked up, nervous twitchy feeling, STAY AWAY for ZANTREX-3!!!

I totally agree w/ Sophia from FL. All you that are complaining that it made you jittery after drinking coffee are completely . Of course it's gonna make you jittery - the pill itself is already loaded w/ caffiene & then you're drinking coffee on top of that! If you're gonna be that , then you deserve the jitters. If you're coffee addiction is really that bad, then I suggest you switch to decaf & quit complaining!

I've been using Zantrex for the past 2 weeks now & absolutely love it! You just have to use it the right way - all these people that still drink coffee & soda while on Zantrex & complain about getting jittery are ridiculous - it says right on the bottle that it doesn't recommend extra caffeine intake. I take 1 in the morning & 1 before lunch & drink lots of water. I also exercise 3 times a week. I have no complaints - it works for me!

I have never used diet supplements or pills before and I just started yesterday on these and already I have lost 2 pounds! I am already a big coffee drinker so the caffeine in the pills probably do not effect me as much as it would someone who does not have a lot of caffiene in thier diet. I have to have my coffee in the morning (I'm up at 5 a.m.) so I skip the morning pill then take 1 around 10 a.m with a snack 15 minutes later (I'm not a breakfast person) then another pill 15 minutes before lunch (around 1p.m.) I realize they are only spaced a couple hours apart but it works for me and I have no side effects. I found that it really helped me stay awake during the afternoon when I usually feel like falling asleep at my desk and I felt more alert than usual. I didn't take another one the rest of the day. Today I will try the same thing but then take 1 before dinner too. I am usually up late every night anyhow so I don't think it will effect my sleep if it take it around 5 p.m. I didn't do anything different than my normal day ( I work from home and have my 2-year-old with me all day so I have no time for real exercise). The only thing I didn't do was snack all day like I usually do but I felt that I didn't need to with the pills. It seemed like it really helped curb my snacking. Just like any diet pill out there I would suggest to READ THE LABEL COMPLETELY and start out slowly. Don't take 6 pills in the first day since you don't know how you will react to it. If you can tolerate the low doses, then titrate up from there. Just use common sense. Good luck and happy dieting!

Don't waste your money on this. I had rapid heart beats and chest pains. I was jittery and I couldn't sit still at work. I'm a coffee drinker and made the mistake of having a cup then taking Zantrex-3 an hout later. Big Mistake. I have a desk job and I found myself working and typing standing up. I did not loose one once of weight on this stuff. I GAVE my bottle away.

Ok, as a future Certified Personal Fitness Trainer I have to say: I like this product but it's not a miracle "just pop a few pills and do what you want" deal. It works for me [because I use it correctly and cautiously, and because I'm a young healthy adult] and I love it, it helps me focus on positive things and I'm looking and feeling great but it's not totally why I'm successful. I hear of people getting huge headaches and numbness in their arms when taking this and I do NOT reccomend anybody taking this if you are over 35, pregnant, taking any other fat-loss diet suppliments, creatine, drinking coffee or tea, on medications [since the herbs in here will probably interact with them], morbidly or even really obese [about 225lbs and over if you're a male, about 180lbs and over if you're a female depending on your height. If you are pregnant or think you may BE please do not even THINK about taking this. I'm 22, I exercise, I'm in good health, don't take anything but Zantrex 3 [not so much as a cup of coffee] and I only take 2 caplets a day and not every day. I get headaches sometimes [sometimes] if I don't drink all my water [dehydration][which is normal because this is a diuretic]. I exercise and eat what I want and I'm burning fat but it's only because I know what I have to do - I could burn fat withought this just not as fast, I just use it for a suppliment and I think it works fairly nicely, better than Hydroxycut anyway. Also, as an herbal suppliment I like this. I've improved on my sense of smell, perception, confidence, and I'm about as positive and focussed as I can be. This is a suppliment, but it's not a miracle "just pop a pill and do what you want" kind of thing. Burning fat is about 5 things: insulin, glucagon, epinephrine, exercise and mental outlook on life :) Thank You . . . think positive and visualize.

I have used this product on and off for six months now. I have consistently taken one each morning for the last two months. Admittedly, it gives me extreme amounts of energy which is great - however it also scares me because when I exercise my heart feels like it is going to beat out of my chest. Also, because I don't take another one midday, I come crashing down about 3pm. Very cranky, snappy and exhausted. It does not suppress my appetite and in the late afternoon only exacerbates it. I have lost weight, but only due in part to how much I exercise now. Yesterday I worked out very hard and started sweating so badly it scared me. My heart was going way too fast even after I stopped working out. I was cold and clammy and just didn't feel right the rest of the day. I AM NOT going to take this product any longer - the energy I feel is great, but not at the expense of my health or life. I have read all of the reviews on this site and can relate to the majority of them. This product isn't safe.

I have taken this product off and on for about 2 months now. I am unable to finish the bottle because I dont like the way it makes me feel. I took it again this morning, hoping for a better experience, with no such luck. Although I took one pill over 4 hours ago, I am still feeling strong negative side effects. I had to cut my 45 minute cardio workout to just 20 minutes because I felt very nauseous and still feel like throwing up, but cant. My heart is pumping fast and I feel very jittery and anxious. It does suppress your appetite because your body is going through such a negative reaction that there is no way you want to put anything inside it. I am even having a hard time drinking water trying to flush my system from it. By the way, I have tried several similar products and this one has the worst side effects. If you are looking for a product that enhances your healthy lifestyle, this is definitely not it. I do not feel healthy at all right now. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.

Hey y'all, I have used a million different type of diet pills. At first this kind worked. I had more energy and it totally supressed my appetite with just taking 2 pills a day. Well, after a week I finally decided to up it to the recommended dose, and I had a SEVERE allergic reaction!! all of a sudden, I was red and itchy ALL over and I felt like my face was on fire...and it only got worse from thier. So, be careful taking this stuff, as with any diet pill.

Hi everyone. I really think that this product should NOT be over the counter. I had a lot of luck (too much luck) with Metabolife (back when it had ephedra) and no problems so I was ready to try this recently since I have started a new job and not been excercising like I should. I read the side effects and followed the instructions, but nothing could have prepared me for what happened. I took the pill with a 16oz glass of water and about 20 minutes later went to eat lunch with a friend. I became cold, shaky, I couldn't concentrate on what my friend was saying, and what was worse was my heart pounding so hard that I honestly thought I was going to die. I was even considering going to the hospital, and I had to keep telling myself to calm down because I was making it worse. I drank a TON of water but next I got what can only be described as the worst headache of my life. It lasted for over eight hours. That was yesterday. I got no sleep and here I am at work and I still feel so sick and nauseated. REALLY nauseated. Please, please check with a doctor before you take this.
