Well, I have to say that this is the first time I have ever taken a diet pill. I am definitely not overweight; infact I am 5'9 and 130lbs. I am used to playing sports all year around and now that I am in the fulltime workforce sitting at a desk and going out to lunch everyday it is harder to work out and I have seen a change in my motabolism and body type. I decided to try this because I thought the energy boost would help and I could afford to lose the extra couple lbs of fat I have gained, and I researched it on the internet and heard only great reviews. I took the pill about an hr ago, I only took one and I ate a decent breakfast right afterwards and I definitely feel the jitters. I do drink alot of sodas, even an occasional redbull maybe once a week so I am not new to caffein, and I would NOT RECOMMEND taking more than one pill at a time (of course this could be different for people with different body types). Infact, this would be something I would only take in the morning to give you the boost for the day. I am a little nervous after reading everyone's reactions to it, breaking out and whatnot, so I will try it this one time and see what happens. I also bought a bottle of Propolene, which is not an energy booster but a fat burner and an appetite suppressant, which I plan on taking ONE before later meals to not have the jittery feeling and keep me up at nite. I will let you know what happens, and if this combination, although a little costly, works!!

I have been on zantrex for almost a week now and if i hadnt have gotten my period i would have lost the weight. before it came i has been on zantrex 3 for only 3 days and had lost the excess 3kilos (6 pounds) i had gained from binge eating. i also drink heaps of coffee and diet coke so i didnt get any side effects from them, except for one night of not sleeping however now i sleep without any trouble and once my period ceases i am sure the weight will continue to drop, its made me want to walk and cycle more aswell as curb my appetite so i am eating like i used to before i ever needed to diet. i am not overweight just want to maintain the size i am and maybe shed a few pounds so i advise people who are grossly obese NOT to take it because it may not work but for regular or slightly overweight people who just want an energy boost or to lose a few kilos by all means give it a try!

I just started taking this product - 1 day and 4 pills - way too much! I am feeling the depression and nervousness. I have not had the stomach cramps or nausea...yet. I have a feeling I won't get a wink of sleep tonight. I took two before I went to my dance class, and it DID NOT help my energy level, in fact, it made me tired and irritated.

I had been taking Zantrex 3 for the past 3 weeks (i just stopped yesterday) and today i feel wonderful because i am not on it anymore. Someone needs to take that pill off the market, it make you crazy. After talking with my best friend everyday about our new side effects from this pill, we finally realized, it was time to stop. Both of our husbands said we were extremely irritable, had severe headaches, i could not focus on anything and oddly, my jaw was starting to hurt me. It was tense, so i would "pop" it and then it would hurt for 2 more hours. After having jaw pain for the past week, it was time to call my friend and ask her if she had the same side effect. She said yes!! It was so strange, we live in different states, and this could not be just a coincedince- i never had any jaw problems, ever and neither did she. And lets not talk about the bowel movements, cmon ladies- this pill is definetly not natural, nor should we be taking it. I am going back to the store and redeeming my $40- i would rather spend it on a new shirt. I would not recommend this product to anyone, ever.

I have been taking the product for only 2 days. The first day I took 2 before breakfast and the 2nd day I took one before lunch. I will not take one more dose of this. I did not experience any energy. As a matter of fact, it makes me want to go to sleep because I am so sick to my stomach. Taking two really made me feel sick but taking one also gave me the same sick and tired feeling. I did not notice any decreased appetite either. I seem to be searching for things to eat so I won't feel so sick. The product is awful and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I have now been taking Zantrex-3 for about 2 weeks. I am 5'3" and started at 151. I am now down to 140. A loss of 11 pounds so far in 2 weeks, but I have also been doing sittups, crunches, using my Gazelle frrestyle 4 times a week for a total of 20 minutes each workout. My energy is way up there thanks to Zantrex, and I would reccomend it to anyone who isnt caffiene sensative! But so far so good!

I had a baby nearly 7 months ago and I gained 15 additional pounds after giving birth, in addition to the 20 pounds I had gained during my pregnancy, so I don't need to explain any further why I decided to take a chance with Zantrex-3, I'm desperate! Well I began Zantrex-3 on Sunday, May 8, 2005 in addition to beginning a low carb diet the same day. I started out weighing 164 lbs (I'm 5'6) today is Friday, May 13, 2005 and I weigh 158 lbs! That a loss of 6 lbs in 5 days! This product is terrific! I've tried to go low carb many times before but couldn't, I needed carbs and failed every time, I love chocolate, pizza, heros, you name it. Zantrex-3 Kills my appetite, gives me energy and I'm now doing low carb and losing weight like a pro. I'm not even taking the recommended dose, I only take 1 pill 10:00am and a 2nd pill no later than 4:30pm and trust me my metabolism sucks and so does my will power. I could not be losing weight or going low carb with out taking this product. My goal is to weigh 135 lbs, that's 23 lbs to go and that's a lot of weight to lose in my opinion, but I'm confident I will do it and even before NY weather is steadily hot which is in about a month and a half. Creatively use Zantrex-3, it works, highly recommended!

I do get the energy that everyone is talking about but I also take a Complex-B vitamin with it. I would recemmend this diet pill to my friend's. Thank you.

Hi, I started taking Zantrex-3 about 4 days ago.I haven't taken diet pills before. After standing in the store an hour reading the backs of many of the products I have realized many had the same or simular ingrediants so I picked this one. I do have about 30 pounds to loose and I am in an exercise program but the cold caused me to get depressed and stay home for about 3 weeks just when I was taking the weight off so I put it back on. I have always been curiouse about diet pills. I read the directions and decided to take only one to see if there was any bad reactions. It made me feel I needed to drink lots of water and after about 5-10 minutes I felt full. Really full.I usualy drink a morning coffee but I did not drink coffee as most bottles said caffine can intensify it. I felt nothing else. I have no jitters or anything. The scale I have is not dependable so I do not know if I relly lost 4lbs or not but I plan on continuing to take this bottle any way to see. I only take one pill befor each meal(2 a day) and drink a whole lot of water. Oh I do have a warm feeling in my stomache but hey it is nothing like acid reflux. I will eat somthing cool and soothing like apple sauce or yogurt for it somtimes. I hope I get weight loss results. In the mean time I am back at the place I go to for my 30 minute work out. Please be careful with taking anything because what works for one may not work for another. We are all unique. And always read labels!

I've been taking zantrax-3 for a month now and lost 35Ibs. When I first started using the pills I had energy and was not hungry anymore. But after taking 6 pills a day the first week I started to felt like I had a migrane and sick to my stomach. By the next week I only took 4 pills a day and felt alot better. After losing 35 Ibs I've stopped losing weight the next month. I don't know what is going on now. I'm confused.

It is all true - and all BAD. I have been taking Zantrex-3 for about a month, and it has been the worst month of my life!! Only after reading these reviews has it all made sense - the rash, and scariest of all, the DEPRESSION. I am used to caffiene, so was expecting a few jitters, but I wasn't expecting to feel so depressed, and upset; and for no reason. Now I know why! NO MORE ZANTREX-3!!!

I've been using this product for 5 months (Holidays bad time to start). I take 1 pill 3 times a day Mon-Friday. Saturday and Sundays maybe one pill the whole day. I drink 8 glasses a water a day. Eat less then 2000 calories a day. I do not exercise but I'm going to this summer. I've lost 20 pounds. I have no trouble sleeping. I'm very caffeeine sensitive so i try not to take more then 4 pills a day and I try not to drink soda. I have a lot of energy. The only side effects I had is stressing out, and mood swings when its that time of the month. This is caused by the caffeeine. Other then that it's a great product. 20 pounds lookin good, and I eat and feel so much better, then 20 pounds ago!!!

I'm not exactly overweight, however, always looking for a 'quick fix' and after having competed in body building competitions (using senephrene-based thermos) a couple of years earlier I decided to give Zantrex a go. The first time I took them in the morning (2 capsules)I felt really, really, really jittery! I found it difficult to concentrate on anything but put this down to being a first-time user experience! I certainly had a smaller appetite. The next morning I took another 2. Within 15 minutes my chest began aching. I don't know what heart attach symptoms feel like but believe it must be something like this! Then my face started feeling itchy and hot. I looked in the mirror and looked as though I'd just completed a marathon. The rash spread down my arms and back and of course I panicked! I can't actually say whether they help one to lose weight, but based on these symptoms I really don't think they're worth even bothering with. Who knows what long term effects they may have???

oh my goodness let me tell you.. i used to live on ephedra based products and be fine.. but xantrex three has a weird effect on me.. somedays i take it and i'm fine but let me tell you i took it one day and was driving to meet my boyfriend and by the time i got this house i couldnt drive.. i could barely breathe.. and he had to go run errands so i decided to go with him so i wouldnt like pass out and die by myself.. (*i only took two mind you*) so i spent the next six hours in his car with him freaking out telling me he wanted to take me to the emergency room and by the way how do you know if you're having a minor heart attack cause i'm definately saying i had a few. But i'm a massochist so i'll probably keep taking them haha..

I honestly LOVE Zantrex 3, but I am also very used to taking ephedra for years..until it became illeagal. I only take 2 in the morning after breakfast before my workout. It gives me the same boost as ephedra did! But I like the feeling of being jittery and knowing I have extreme energy! I DO NOT recommend this diet pill to any one that does not like ephedra or has never tried it!! because it WILL make you sick if you are not already used to it!

I agree with most of you, I have tried this product, and I to felt very high on life I tried it for two weeks straight, and i only lost three pounds. I had a lot of itters, the feeling of a heart attack, and I got realy bad acne from this product. After I stoped taking this product, i gained my weight back two fold. I did like all of the energy, but I think it was a little much. So all i say is if you try this product, try it with caution.

I began taking this about 3 weeks ago because while I've always been thin, I started to eat a lot more and in less than a year put on about 30lbs. I researched Zantrex and decided I'd try it. For the first week I took 4 a day and felt absolutely miserable. I was so nervous and jittery I could barely move. However, since I spent so much money on the pills, I figured that my body would get used to them so I kept taking them. By the second week the side effects were minimal and I actually was up to 6 a day and was absolutely fine. However, I stopped taking them for about 2 days because I was too busy and didn't have the bottle with me. When I just got back on them, taking 2 before lunch, it's back to feeling jittery and sick. Not nearly as bad as the first week, but the side effects are definitely back to a degree. Despite this, my appetite is pretty much gone altogether and like others have said, I don't know if I've actually lost weight but my jeans, which had grown to be so tight I could barely breathe, are fitting so much looser and better now. I will continue to take this product, but I can't honestly recommend it because I can see why for some people the side effects may not be worth it.

I have been using Xantrex 3 for 4 days now. I take 2 in the morning and 2 before lunch. I drink coffe regularly and this product still has a strong effect on me. I do get jitters, hold sweats and nausea. However it usually wears off. You HAVE to eat after you take these pills. I would not recommend taking them before dinner, only breakfast and lunch. I would also recommend only taking 1 the first time you use it. I also did experience the headaches as well. I only want to lose 4-5 vanity pounds and so far it is helping me to do that. I do not get hungry but I make myself eat to avoid getting sick. I usually work out 4-5 days a week but since I have started taking this pill I have not because I believe it will make you pass out if you work out too hard. So if you only want to lose a few pounds I would recommend it and then stop taking them and get back on your regular diet and exercise program.

I have tried Metabolife before as well as pure Ephedra tabs from [] (back when they were legal). That stuff made me feel like my heart was going to jump out of my chest and I was extra cranky and gave me a short fuse. So far, my experience with Zantrex is better. The first time I took it my heart felt like it was going a little faster than normal- for whatever reason, that isn't bothering me so much anymore (maybe I'm getting used to the pill?) Anyway, it definately supresses my appetite, I don't reach for a snack every two minutes and I only take one a day (30minutes before lunch). I have a slightly harder time falling asleep at night but thats about it. Nothing too serious- give it a try!
