I am new to exercise. I am a WW member and have been trying to find something that would motivate me to exercise regularly. I love to dance and when I was out of town I saw an informercial about Zumba. Normally I don't watch informercials but it really caught my attention. I wrote the # down and when I returned home I looked up info on it on line. They had a special trial offer where you can preview all 4 DVDS, it includes an instructional steps video, a beginner 30 min workout, an advanced 60 min workout, and a "rapido" workout of 15 min. Since I haven't been exercising regularly I watched the Steps video to get familiar with it. The next day I tried the 15 min Rapido. The twelve days since I have done either the 15 min Rapido or the 30 min Beginner video eleven of those days. I love it. Of course I love to dance so that may be part of it but I find that it gets my heart to pumping, it's fun and I really sweat. I look forward to doing it everyday. In fact I get up early just to do my Zumba. And I'm not an early riser. I feel better since I have been doing it, also. And I know this is something I can and will stick with. No other exercise has been as fun as Zumba. And it isn't easy it's just so much fun you WANT to do it! Which makes all the difference in the world. I can tell a difference in the way I feel I am happier and have more energy. I wake up even before my alarm (a first for me) and look forward to Zumba. I haven't seen any physical changes but it's only been 12 days but I will keep you informed. I love Zumba! I recommend it to all fitness levels who love to dance and have a good time!

I got the set of 4 Zumba Fitness tapes last week, and have been doing them every other day since. It's nicely broken up into a "Steps" tape that teaches the basic choreography first; a 30-minute tape, a 45-minute tape, and even a 15-minute tape, when time is short, so there's never an excuse! I love Latin dance, though I'm not in any way proficient in it, so this series is a lot of fun for me. The moves used in Zumba come from salsa, merengue, calypso, flamenco, and even belly dancing and tango. The music is a blast, and really adds to the overall quality. It really gets the heart rate up, but it does it in intervals so you don't feel overexherted. I'm always surprised at how quickly the time flies when I do Zumba. I find myself actually smiling and singing through the workout, and then suddenly it's cool-down time. Beto and his crew are engaging and not irritating, as some overly-perky instructors can be. And boy, can they DANCE! I would recommend it for anyone who loves to dance, even if you feel you're not the most coordinated person in the world (like me!).

I have used Zumba for about eight days now. I love the dance steps and I look forward to doing it everyday, it is so much fun!! But to get the firms abs you have to concentrate on keeping them contracted. Beto and his instructor move through the moves so fast without telling you what they are doing or what areas you need to be concentrating on, but the more times you do the tapes the easier it is to follow. My legs have definitely already started firming up and with using 3lb weights during the cardio, my arms are becoming sculpted also. I used to jog and I get the same euphoric feeling from these tapes as I did after jogging/running. This product is definitely fun and addicting!

I bought the 4 CD set of zumba from the infomercial. I think it is great. It is not as easy as it looks though, but practice makes it easier every time. It is a lot of fun and has great music. I also like it for the different steps. Also my children think it is great and love to get up and dance to the music.

Saw the Zumba infomercial a few times, and thought it looked like a lot of fun. It also looked like something I could do that wouldn't aggravate a bad leg leftover from a car wreck 2 years back. I knew I needed something I could do inside over the winter, so I ordered the video tapes. I started by doing the "steps" video three or four times -- and even just doing the steps video got me sweating a bit, which was a good sign. I've now done the Beginner video three or four times, and the Rapido once. Overall, I'm pleased. The Zumba workout is definitely fun, the people are engaging (and don't I wish I could move like them -- or, as we say around here, "I wish I had that swing on *my* back porch!"). I think they overstate how easy it is to learn the steps, but I've never been averse to having to practice a bit to get a workout right -- I never got step aerobics routines easily, either. Heck, it keeps me thinking. The music is great; better than the musicon most aerobics videos for sure. I do think that the "calling" of the videos could be better; I suspect that this is lacking because Beto's English isn't strong yet. It would be nice to have clearer instructions. Also, the "advanced" steps mostly seem to me to be Beto hotdogging -- which he does extremely well, by the way -- rather than steps designed for increased cardiovascular burn. Overall, I like Zumba very well, and I just bought some 1 pound wrist weights to wear while I do it, to increase arm toning and aerobic burn. I plan to Zumba my way through the cold winter months, and emerge a better dancer come spring!

I recently purchased Zumba. I love the music and learning how to dance the new latin moves. However, you can get lost in the work out as it is hard to understand Beto's English and there is not any warning/comments or countdown when Beto is going to change steps. SO you just have to try to catch on and flow. The girl Natalia does a good job teaching the ZUMBA STEPS and it would be recommended that she teaches the steps for future workouts.

I've had the Zumba collection for only a week - all I can say is - outstanding!! It does take some effort to get the moves - other than that it is definitely worth it. I like everyone else - look forward to my Zumba workouts. The original music is catchy and uplifting and Beto and his crew are wonderful dancers - my goal is to "move" like the rest of the women in the videos! A definitely worthwhile purchase.

I love the zumba music and dance moves! The energy is a plus! I do have a hard time understanding the instructions. I think Beto can do a better job at decribing what the followers need to do and how to do it correctly. Also, are these moves effective concerning an accurate body workout? I need to know if what I am partaking is actually safe for my body. The video needs professional help. It's like having our top actors in a low budget movie. Zumba can do better than this. Zumba needs to represent Latinos to the fullest!

I love zumba it is great. The moves are awsome the dancers are awsome and the more you do it the better you get and the better you feel. you break a sweat many times throughout the workout but you also get short breaks like bellydancing in between. i advice everyone to buy it!

I was so psyched to finally have received the Zumba dvd's i ordered after waiting for two months. (I payed through money orders.) The basic step video was okay. It took me step-by-step. Some of the steps were badly described and taught though. I had to rewind back a couple of times on some of the moves just to get it accurate. Then I moved to the work-out video. I hated it!! They just kept on dancing, doing the steps without notification to which step was going to be done. So it was basically all up to me to distinguish which step was being done and to do it correctly. I returned the dvd's about a week or two of them just sitting there. It took them 2months to refund me. By the way, I don't understand how Zumba would help "tone" your body and get you fit. They were just regular dance steps to me!

This set is FABULOUS! I am not a proficient dancer, but I know the basic pattern of latin steps so I skipped the "Steps" video and went straight to the Basic. I caught on right away and never felt lost or confused, although the dance moves are pretty fast and Beto doesn't talk much (which is fine with me). I really feel like I get a good workout with the Basic dvd, so I haven't worked my way up to the advanced or tried the Rapido workout just yet. The dancers are great, the moves are pretty straightforward and the music defies anyone to just sit there and watch. This workout is fun, and I definitely break a good sweat doing it. A great investment!

Zumba is a great way to learn basic latin dance steps. I did not loose any weight; however, I felt the ease and confidence to dance on parties. It toned my shoulders, legs, and abs.

I've taken dance classes for 3 years but due to scheduling conflicts, I had to take this year off. I ordered Zumba so I could still get my needed "dance fix" at home. I really enjoy the videos. I found the beginner video to be too easy since I'm used to dancing and learning steps. I went right to the advanced and Rapido videos and found them to be more challenging. It can be difficult to figure out what comes next since there's not much explaination during the workouts. You just have to try to follow along. Also, there's not enough stretching. 20-30 seconds of leg stretches isn't enough for a 60 minute dance video. Overall, I do enjoy the videos and would recommend them to people who enjoy to dance. Just do some additional stretching before you start.

I first started out with the Zumba video. Then on Nov. 3oth, I went to the Zumba Fitness Festival. It was awesome. My friends and I friends had a great time and we didn't even notice that we were loosing weight. After, I started taking the classes with Beto down here in Miami. Although it was an adult class and I am only fourteen years old, I know what I am doing and I am having a great time. I also take classes with one of the other Zumba teachers, Jenny. For anyone who wants to have fun and loose weight at the same time, I totally recommend Zumba no matter what the age is.

I purchased the Zumba collection in late September. I'm the type of person that gets bored of something quickly. However, with Zumba Fitness, it's the first time I've actually been so happy about purchasing something that I wouldn't give it up for anything. Not only does this video provide you with actual results (as well as confidence), you really have fun while you're doing it. I hope to see more Zumba related products available, as I will be one of the first to buy it! To whoever this concerns, thank you so much.

I was excited when I first received my Zumba collection. I loved the music, the dancers were great - but, the lack of direction coming from Beto ticked me off. Instead of hot dogging throughout his videos it would have helped if he gave more direction. The rapido tape with Beto alone was frustrating. He rarely told what move was coming up next. I returned the videos and got a refund.

This product is okay. For beginners this is fun and different. I like to dance. I was really looking forward to learning some fun aerobic routines. This fitness set is okay, and you will break a sweat, but the routines are not that innovative. I feel some burn in my muscles, particularly in my legs, but my abs and arms are feeling a little left out. I will continue using this product until a better one comes around.

I received my Zumba videos about 3 or 4 weeks ago and have to say that I absolutely love them. I've been working out pretty steadily for about a year and a half on my own (at home) doing things like step aerobics, circuit training, kick-boxing, etc. with various tapes that I have. I saw the infomercial for Zumba and, being the lover of latin music and dance that I am, I just had to order Zumba. I really look forward to doing my Zumba workouts. They're a great addition to my workout regimen. I strongly recommend to anyone who buys them to take the time to go through the instructional video from beginning to end, and once you do, you will find the workouts easier to follow. Everyone on the tapes look great and I love the way they move! I look forward to more Zumba workouts in the future (okay Beto?)

I have tried excercise vidoes before, and I like Zumba the best so far!! I think that it is a great start for any fitness level and it really is fun and upbeat. I especially like the fact that it also teaches you latin dance steps, so it's really worth the money. I have been doing it about a month (4 times a week) and already feel and look better. I would recommend Zuumba to anyone!!!
